Sustainable Spirits Meet Award-Winning Craftsmanship.
GOOD* Distillations has officially launched its debut product, Weekender Wheat whisky, now available in limited quantities at select retail locations and direct-to-consumer shipping in 46 U.S. states via gooddistillations.com. Coinciding with the launch, Weekender Wheat earned a Silver Medal at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, a respected event judged by blind tasting.
A Modern Take on Wheat Whisky
Crafted in small batches from soft red winter wheat and barley, Weekender Wheat is designed to be an approachable, richly flavored alternative to corn-based American whiskies. According to the Tasting Alliance, the whisky is “a light and approachable expression that opens with soft vanilla and oak on the nose, introduces gentle notes of toast, breadcrumbs, and a hint of spice on the palate, and finishes smoothly with a hint of honey.”
Packaged in a First-of-Its-Kind Paper Bottle
GOOD* Distillations is positioning Weekender Wheat as a whisky for the outdoors. The spirit is sold in what the company believes is the first paper bottle used for a North American wheat whisky. Made from 100% recycled paperboard with an internal liner to preserve flavor, the bottle is lightweight and shatterproof—ideal for activities like barbecues, camping, and festivals.
Mission-Driven and Environmentally Conscious
“We believe Weekender Wheat represents an important step forward for both wheat whisky and fireside enjoyment,” said Weston Twigg, co-founder of GOOD* Distillations. “Winning a medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition is an incredible honor, and it reflects the long hours and attention to detail our team put into creating Weekender Wheat.”
