(May 19, 2025) — Green River Distilling Co., Kentucky’s 10th oldest licensed distillery (DSP-KY-10), proudly announces a limited-release whiskey to commemorate the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary. This special bourbon, launching on June 14, 2025, will be available throughout the next year, honoring a monumental milestone in American history.

Introducing the Army 250th Anniversary Bourbon
The commemorative release, bottled at an Army Strong 111.1 Proof (55.55% alc. by vol.) as a nod to Veteran’s Day (November 11), is a small-batch selection of 4- to 7-year-old barrels. Crafted with a unique mashbill of 77% corn, 14% rye, and 9% malted barley, this bourbon offers a rich flavor profile featuring:
- Tasting Notes: Caramel, black cherry, cocoa, and peppermint.
- Mouthfeel: A robust blend of toffee and toasted oak.
- Finish: Lightly spiced and bold, distinct to this official U.S. Army whiskey.
Priced at a suggested retail of $49.99, this limited-edition bourbon will be available at select military bases, Green River’s locations in Owensboro and Louisville, and select online and physical retailers nationwide.
