High West just announced a distillery-only release of its famed ““Bourye”. Cleverly named, Bourye is a blend of straight rye and straight bourbon whiskeys that are aged for a minimum of 10 years. This limited-release boasts notes of dried bing cherries, brown butter shortbread with grilled peaches, French vanilla mouse, candied ginger and cedar. Exclusively available at the distillery, this year’s Bourye is one to try before it runs out.

The distillery describes the nose of the whiskey as crisp green apple with maple syrup drizzle, butterscotch squares, toasted almond biscotti, sage, balsam de Peru and sun-weathered oak. The whiskey has notes of Dried Bing cherries, brown butter shortbread with grilled peaches, French vanilla mouse, candied ginger and cedar. On the finished, the distillery describes the whiskey as having notes of warm chai tea with grated nutmeg.
