Limited Eight-Barrel Release Showcases Ingram’s “Mellowed on the Mississippi” Craftsmanship.
The Ingram Distillery has announced the launch of its 2025 Flagship Bourbon, the distillery’s annual ultra-premium release designed to highlight its signature River Aging process. This year’s edition, comprised of only eight barrels of Kentucky Straight Bourbon, represents the smallest batch to date by Ingram’s Master Blender, Scott Beyer.
Fifth Annual Release, Limited to Just Eight Barrels
Now in its fifth year, the 2025 Flagship Bourbon is bottled at 116.5 proof and crafted from a high-rye mash bill of 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley. “Every Flagship release is unique, with its own character and flavor produced by our river aging process,” said Founder and Proprietor Hank Ingram. “This year, we selected and blended from just eight barrels to produce what we believe is a truly extraordinary bourbon. We’ve accomplished much in 2025 and the release of our Flagship is the perfect way to celebrate as we turn to the fall. I would tell any bourbon lover to act quickly before these bottles are gone.”
River Aging Defines Ingram’s Signature Style
Inside Ingram’s floating barrelhouses on the Mississippi River, barrels mature in a unique environment influenced by the river’s motion, humidity, and natural temperature cycles. This “Mellowed on the Mississippi” process contributes to the brand’s distinct profile. Each year’s Flagship release showcases the best of this aging technique for the brand.
2025 Flagship Bourbon Tasting Notes
According to the brand, the 2025 Flagship Bourbon opens with aromas of apple pie, brown sugar, cake frosting, and clove. The palate is rich and oily, with notes of milk chocolate, sweet buttercream, and chai spices. The finish is long and layered, featuring toasted walnuts, warm cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel, and demerara sugar.
A Year of Growth and Expansion
The launch of the 2025 Flagship Bourbon caps a year of growth for The Ingram Distillery, which recently introduced Uncharted, a new Kentucky wheated bourbon packaged in 100% recycled glass. The distillery also expanded its distribution to Alaska and Texas, bringing availability to eight states across the U.S.
