A Historic Return of a Classic Format for First Time Since Prohibition.

The Jack Daniel Distillery has announced the U.S. release of its signature Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey in a 3-liter bottle, marking the first time this format has been available since Prohibition. The new large-format bottle becomes a permanent addition to the brand’s lineup, arriving in time for the 2025 holiday season.

A Holiday Offering Rooted in Tradition

“Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey has been at the heart of everything we make at the Jack Daniel Distillery since the days of Mr. Jack himself,” said Chris Fletcher, Master Distiller at Jack Daniel’s. “We hope this bold new take will help create timeless holiday memories that last long after the bottle is gone.”

As Always, Crafted in Lynchburg, Tennessee

Each bottle of Old No. 7 begins in Lynchburg, Tennessee, with a mash bill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye. The whiskey undergoes the Lincoln County Process, mellowed through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal before aging in handcrafted new American white oak barrels. The result is the signature smooth profile known for aromas of vanilla, caramel, and almond, complemented by a balanced finish.

Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Lineup Available Nationwide

The 3-liter bottle joins the existing Old No. 7 lineup, which includes 50 mL, 100 mL, 200 mL, 375 mL, 750 mL, 1 L, and 1.75 L sizes. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), the large format carries a suggested retail price of $79.99 and is now available across the U.S.
