The bottle marks McLaren’s 1000th Grand Prix and 160 years of distilling for the famed Tennessee distillery.

To open the 2026 Formula 1 season, Jack Daniel’s has unveiled a new limited-edition Tennessee Whiskey as part of their continued partnership with the McLaren Formula 1 Team. The fourth annual collaboration celebrates McLaren’s upcoming 1000th Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami and the 160th anniversary of the Jack Daniel Distillery.

The 2026 McLaren Mastercard F1 Team x Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV), an increase from the standard 80 proof of Old No. 7. The limited release features a commemorative bottle design inspired by McLaren’s milestone Grand Prix celebration graphics.

Elevated Proof and Classic Mashbill

The whiskey maintains Jack Daniel’s traditional mashbill of 80% corn, 8% rye, and 12% malted barley. Distilled in Lynchburg, Tennessee. As always, the distillery follows the Lincoln County Process before aging in new American white oak barrels.

According to the distillery, the higher 86 proof delivers a fuller profile with notes of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak, finishing smooth and creamy.

“Jack Daniel’s and McLaren both possess a dedication to heritage, innovation and the pursuit of possibility,” said Mark Bacon, SVP, Global Managing Director – Jack Daniel’s. “This year’s limited edition bottle celebrates that shared legacy with a bold design that gives fans a premium way to celebrate the spirit of both brands.”

Nick Martin, Co-Chief Commercial Officer of McLaren Racing, added that the release provides fans a way to mark the team’s 1000th Grand Prix milestone.

Limited, Global Availability

The limited-edition Tennessee Whiskey will be available beginning March 2026 in Formula 1 Grand Prix global markets and select additional locations. It will be offered in 700mL and 1L formats, with a suggested retail price of $34.99 for the 1L bottle.
