Double Barrel Rye Whiskey
Jefferson’s completes another voyage with the release of this double barrel rye whiskey. Jefferson’s unique take on crafting whiskey by loading up barrels and placing them on a ship to let them age may seem a little far fetched but we all know that exposing the barrel to different elements that can create new innovative tastes and that’s what they have set out to do!
Ships log: Aged first in #3 char barrels and then double barrel split between char #3 and toasted barrels. Traveled from Port of Savannah to Australia and back.

Color: Amber
Nose: As you raise this glass to your nose the swirl of honey, carmel and toffee greet you. As you let linger near your nose it opens up to fresh peaches and apples
Palate: The first sip is full of honey and citrus that leads you craving another sip. The creamy mouthfeel coats your palate and stays with you while you wait for that second sip. The second sip gives you more fruits and honey that reminds you of a crisp summers day. This is the perfect spring and summer rye whiskey.
Finish: creamy yet delicate. Subtly long finish
