As America prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, two iconic American brands are bringing a taste of home to one of motorsport’s most prestigious stages. Jim Beam and the Cadillac Formula 1 Team are partnering to commemorate Independence Day during the 2026 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, highlighting American heritage, hospitality, and performance on a global platform.
The activation marks another milestone in Jim Beam’s growing presence in motorsports as the brand continues its role as the Official Spirits Partner of the Cadillac Formula 1 Team.
Jim Beam Brings American Spirit to Formula 1’s Historic Silverstone Circuit
Formula 1 returns to Silverstone during the Fourth of July holiday weekend, creating a unique opportunity for Jim Beam and Cadillac Formula 1 Team to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary on one of racing’s most historic stages.
The partnership brings together two brands with deep American roots as Cadillac prepares for its inaugural Formula 1 season and Jim Beam continues to expand its presence in global sports and entertainment.
“This Fourth of July, as America marks its 250th anniversary and Formula 1 returns to Silverstone, Jim Beam and the Cadillac Formula 1 Team will celebrate the holiday on both sides of the Atlantic,” the company said in announcing the initiative.
New ‘Better View’ Campaign Highlights Race Day Traditions
As part of the celebration, Jim Beam will debut its new global brand campaign, “Better View,” during Silverstone race week. The campaign focuses on the fans and traditions that make race weekends memorable, emphasizing shared experiences and connections rather than the location of the event itself.
“Better View is a celebration of the fans who turn race day into something bigger than the race itself regardless of where they are viewing the track,” said KK Hall, Global Vice President of Marketing at Jim Beam. “We believe the best moments are shared together, and this campaign is rooted in the friendships, traditions and connections that make race day memorable.”
The campaign reflects Jim Beam’s broader brand message centered around bringing people together through shared experiences.
Fourth of July Pit Stop BBQ Brings Kentucky Hospitality to Formula 1
The celebrations will begin on July 1 with a Cadillac Formula 1 Team x Jim Beam Pit Stop BBQ. Designed as a Fourth of July-themed gathering, the event will feature live music, slow-smoked barbecue, and the Southern hospitality associated with Jim Beam’s Kentucky roots.
The activation serves as a “home away from home” for team members, guests, and partners during race week while showcasing a distinctly American experience on an international stage.
The event also underscores the growing connection between bourbon culture and motorsports, a trend that has expanded significantly in recent years through partnerships across Formula 1, NASCAR, and other racing series.
Limited-Edition Jim Beam x Cadillac Formula 1 Bottle Debuts
Silverstone will also serve as the launch platform for the new 2026 Jim Beam White x Cadillac Formula 1 Team Limited Edition Bottle.
According to the company, members of the Cadillac Formula 1 Team will be the first to receive the collectible release, which commemorates the partnership between the bourbon brand and the newest American entry into Formula 1 competition.
The bottle joins a growing lineup of motorsports-themed whiskey releases that have become increasingly popular among collectors and racing fans alike.
Bourbon and Motorsports Continue Building a Global Audience
The collaboration highlights the continued convergence of American whiskey and international motorsports. As Cadillac prepares to establish itself in Formula 1, Jim Beam is leveraging the sport’s global reach to introduce bourbon culture to new audiences around the world.
“As the American team, we’re proud to celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary at Silverstone – bringing some American tradition to our home away from home,” said Tyler Epp, Global Head of Commercial Strategy for the Cadillac Formula 1 Team. “Bringing people together to celebrate the Fourth of July, alongside a partner like Jim Beam, authenticates the foundational values on which the Cadillac Formula 1 Team is being built.”
With America’s 250th anniversary serving as the backdrop, the partnership showcases Kentucky bourbon and American culture on one of the world’s biggest sporting stages as Formula 1 heads to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix.
