This Can’t-Miss Bourbon Festival is Scheduled for September 10–13, 2026, in Bardstown, Kentucky.
The Kentucky Bourbon Festival will return to Bardstown from September 10–13, 2026, marking its milestone 35th anniversary. Held during National Bourbon Heritage Month, the annual event continues to draw bourbon fans from across the globe to the Bourbon Capital of the World for an immersive weekend of whiskey, education, and celebration.
Fourth Consecutive Sellout Leads to Early Announcement
Following a fourth consecutive sellout in 2025, organizers are encouraging bourbon fans to save the date for the 2026 celebration. Since its reimagining in 2021, the festival has seen steady growth in attendance and popularity.
“We can’t wait to raise a glass with bourbon lovers from around the world as we celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival,” said Randy Prasse, COO and president of the festival. “Since revamping the event in 2021, we’ve sold out every year — and 2026 is shaping up to be our biggest, boldest celebration yet. You won’t want to miss what we have in store.”

A Destination for Bourbon Enthusiasts Worldwide
In 2025, 85% of ticket holders traveled from outside Kentucky, reinforcing the festival’s impact on tourism and the regional economy. The event offers direct engagement with leading bourbon brands, interactive tasting experiences, and educational sessions led by industry professionals.
“We are looking forward to another remarkable year at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival,” said Cordell Lawrence, board chair and chief executive officer of Eastern Light Distilling. “KBF has become the premier destination for bourbon enthusiasts to not only enjoy exceptional whiskeys, but also to connect with the passionate individuals who craft them.”
Presented by The Koetter Group
The Koetter Group returns as the presenting sponsor of the 2026 event. The third-generation family-owned business specializes in construction, real estate, building services, and premium barrel storage systems through K-Rax.
An on-sale date for 2026 tickets will be announced at a later time. Subscribers to the KBF e-newsletter will receive early access to ticket announcements, special events, and festival updates.
