Laphroaig 15-Year-Old is back in the U.S. after more than a decade, this time as a permanent part of the core lineup alongside the 10- and 18-Year-Old. It aged 15 years in American oak bourbon casks and is bottled at 46% ABV. It is available nationwide now at $89 SRP.

To celebrate, Laphroaig partnered with Women Who Whiskey, a club of nearly 20,000 members that is marking its own 15th anniversary. The two are hosting private member tastings in U.S. cities.

Sarah Dowling, senior whisky blender, Scotch and Irish at Suntory Global Spirits, comments: “We’re incredibly excited the time has come for the legendary Laphroaig 15-Year-Old to remerge as a permanent offering. On the nose, the whisky opens with vibrant citrus aromas, the palate brings a bold wave of sea salt and smoke and a fruity sweetness towards the finish. It’s not a surprise that people fell in love with this expression and are excited to see its return. And as a proud woman who whiskies myself, I am so happy to welcome Women Who Whiskey members to share this special moment.”

Julia Ritz Toffoli, Women Who Whiskey founder & principal, comments: “Fifteen years ago, Women Who Whiskey was born from the idea that enjoying whiskey is more fun when everyone has a seat at the table. It’s incredibly special to celebrate our 15-year anniversary alongside the return of the Laphroaig 15-Year-Old, a whisky that represents the dynamic relationship between tradition and innovation. For us, learning from the traditions that came before us while remaining curious enough to challenge them is at the heart of whiskey clubs like ours. We’re thrilled to invite our members to step up, step out, and experience this next chapter together.”
