Tennessee Distillery and Whiskey Brand Expands to Downtown Nashville.

Leiper’s Fork Distillery has announced plans to expand its operations to Nashville Yards, a major development in the heart of downtown Nashville. The new location will feature on-site whiskey production, a full-service restaurant and bar, retail store, private tasting room, and a stage for live music performances. The expansion marks a major milestone for the family-owned distillery, which has built a reputation for small-batch, grain-to-glass Tennessee whiskey since 2016.

Increased Production and Prominent Downtown Presence

Distiller and founder Lee Kennedy plans to relocate the distillery’s current 500-gallon still, “Ginger,” to the Nashville Yards location and install a new 1,000-gallon system at the original site in Williamson County. The new downtown location will allow the brand to scale its operations while maintaining its hands-on, traditional production methods. “This move allows us to share our story of authentic grain-to-glass whiskey production with a broader audience in the heart of downtown,” Kennedy said.

Architecturally Distinct Venue Anchoring Nashville Yards

Set to open in mid-2026, the 9,000-square-foot facility will anchor the ground floor of an 18,500-square-foot corten steel-clad boutique building adjacent to the Pinnacle Tower. The location is highly visible from Broadway and Church Street and features a rooftop space exceeding 10,000 square feet. Visitors will be able to enjoy views of historic rail lines and Ascension Saint Thomas Landing, an open green space with an amphitheater, dog park, and event area.

Whiskey, Music, and Community Under One Roof

The Nashville Yards distillery will offer tours, tastings, curated flights, and live music, continuing the success of the distillery’s “Still House Sessions” series in Williamson County. The facility will operate whiskey production five days a week, while the bar, retail store, and restaurant will be open six days weekly. A large patio will open onto the Landing, creating a seamless connection between indoor experiences and the outdoor community space.

Partnership Embraces Nashville Culture

Cary Mack, Managing Partner at Southwest Value Partners, noted the significance of the addition: “Leiper’s Fork Distillery at Nashville Yards will masterfully distill and showcase much of what we love about Nashville – friendship, whiskey, great bites, and live music – in one incredible setting.”
