Full Press Release on 2024 Fall Collection

Vergennes, VT, October 22, 2024. Lost Lantern Whiskey, an award-winning independent bottler, is excited to announce the release of its Fall 2024 10-Year Collection. This limited-edition collection showcases the finest American distilleries, featuring exceptional 10-year-old single cask releases. The collection highlights the craftsmanship and patience needed to create remarkable whiskey. It emphasizes that dedication and intentional production earn age and quality.

Co-founders Nora Ganley-Roper and Adam Polonski reflect on the significance of this release: “As American distilleries reach new milestones, the variety of age statements increases, proving that quality isn’t just about tradition—it’s about craftsmanship and patience,” Polonski explains. This philosophy is in each bottle of the Fall 2024 10-Year Collection. It presents natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered whiskies. There is no added color.

The Fall 2024 Collection Highlights

  1. Westland Peated American Single Malt 9.99 Years Old Single Cask (109.8 Proof, 185 Bottles)
    • This release is from Seattle’s renowned Westland Distillery. It delivers savory smoke, scorched apples, and roasted meats. There is also a s’mores-like sweetness on the palate. At 9.99 years old, it is the oldest Westland whiskey to date.
  2. Tom’s Foolery Ohio Straight Bourbon 10 Years Old Single Cask (119.4 Proof, 82 Bottles)
    • This family-run distillery in Ohio delivers a bourbon with maple-drizzled cornbread and warming oak spice. This reflects their traditional, hands-on approach to distillation.
  3. Spirit Works California Straight Rye 10 Years Old Single Cask (139.2 Proof, 120 Bottles)
    • This rye has been aged for a decade in the heart of Sonoma. It offers fresh lemon, spearmint, and deep oak notes. This makes it one of the oldest and most complex releases from Spirit Works.
  4. New York Distilling Company Straight Rye 10 Years Old Single Cask (133.9 Proof, 125 Bottles)
    • From Brooklyn, this rye whiskey bursts with dark chocolate, mint brownies, and cinnamon, creating a remarkably fresh and complex profile.

Each of these single cask releases will be available starting November 7, 2024 at LostLanternWhiskey.com, Seelbachs.com, and select retailers in California and Massachusetts. Visitors can also sample and purchase these bottles at the Lost Lantern Tasting Room in Vergennes, Vermont. Each bottle in this exclusive collection is priced at $150.
