Lost Lantern Unveils Its Fall 2025 “Scotch Lovers’ Collection,” Bridging Scottish Tradition and American Single Malt Innovation.
VERGENNES, VT (October 29, 2025) — Lost Lantern, the award-winning independent bottler of American whiskey, proudly announces its Fall 2025 release: The Scotch Lovers’ Collection — a curated selection of seven American single malts designed to invite Scotch enthusiasts into the world of American whiskey through familiar yet distinctly stateside flavors.
Following the federal recognition of American Single Malt as an official whiskey category in December 2024, Lost Lantern’s latest collection celebrates the traditional side of the category — showcasing the parallels between Scotch heritage and American craftsmanship.
“While the single malts and blended malts in this Collection are not and could never be Scotch, which can only be made in Scotland, these unique and exceptional whiskies will hold special appeal for Scotch lovers,” said Co-Founder Adam Polonski. “We worked closely with each of the distilleries in this collection to source truly first-of-their-kind whiskies as a way to invite Scotch lovers into American single malt.”
Blending Scottish Inspiration with American Ingenuity
Since its 2020 debut, Lost Lantern has partnered with more than 40 distilleries across 20 states, spotlighting the diversity of American whiskey through single casks and limited blends. With the Scotch Lovers’ Collection, Lost Lantern focuses for the first time entirely on single and blended malts, uniting pioneering American producers under a shared philosophy of transparency, terroir, and craftsmanship.
“American single malt has rapidly become one of the most dynamic styles of whiskey in the world,” said Co-Founder and Head Blender Nora Ganley-Roper. “We are excited for Scotch lovers to join us in exploring the more traditional side of this fast-rising style.”
FALL 2025 COLLECTION HIGHLIGHTS
The Scotch Lovers’ Collection features seven whiskies — two blends and five single casks — each chosen for its ability to appeal to Scotch palates while showcasing American identity:
- American Vatted Malt Remix ($100) – A new evolution of Lost Lantern’s debut whiskey, blending single malts from 11 distilleries across eight states for a complex, smoky character.
- American Vatted Malt Reissue ($90) – A re-release of the 2020 original blend that helped define American independent bottling.
- Warfield Idaho Single Malt ($100) – Lost Lantern’s first Idaho whiskey, distilled in traditional Scottish pot stills and ideal for Speyside and Lowland Scotch fans.
- Triple Eight Peated Massachusetts Single Malt ($120) – The first peated whiskey from Nantucket’s Triple Eight Distillery, reminiscent of whiskies from Scotland’s Islands.
- Triple Eight 10-Year-Old Massachusetts Single Malt ($150) – A decade-old single cask, rich in maritime spice and sweetness, perfect for Highland whisky lovers.
- Triple Eight Sauternes Cask 11-Year-Old Massachusetts Single Malt ($180) – Lost Lantern’s oldest release to date, fully matured in ex-Sauternes casks, with lush fruit and honeyed depth.
- McCarthy’s 10-Year-Old Peated Oregon Single Malt ($150) – A historic 10-year-old from America’s first single malt distillery, crafted for Islay whisky enthusiasts.
All expressions are non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, ensuring authenticity and full-bodied character.

“We have been Scotch lovers since long before we started Lost Lantern,” added Ganley-Roper. “Scotch independent bottlers heavily influenced our approach to American whiskey, so it’s only natural for us to shine a light on American single malts that particularly speak to Scotch drinkers — a group that includes ourselves!”
