New 5-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon features corn grown onsite at the Bardstown distillery.

BARDSTOWN, KY (March 12, 2026) – Lux Row Distillers is proud to announce the release of Lux Row Estate Bourbon, a landmark “grain-to-glass” expression. This 5-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon is crafted using #2 yellow corn grown directly on the distillery’s 11-acre estate—the very land where its iconic rickhouses now stand.

Bottled at 107 proof (53.5% ABV), Lux Row Estate Bourbon is a distillery-exclusive release, available now at the Lux Row Distillers visitor center for a suggested retail price of $99.99.

From Field to Bottle

The project was spearheaded by Master Distiller John Rempe, who oversaw every stage of production—from selecting the corn variant to riding the combine during harvest. The final mash bill consists of 78% homegrown corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye, resulting in a profile that celebrates the distillery’s unique terroir.

“Estate has been a true labor of love – from field to bottle – and the result exceeds all my expectations,” said Rempe. “Before the rickhouses were built, I remember looking out across the land we were farming for hay and thinking we could put these fields to use to do something really special – and we did. It’s a delicious pour and wonderful testament to Kentucky’s natural resources and bourbon heritage.”

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Honey-forward and inviting.
  • Palate: Rich notes of honey, brown sugar, and black cherry.
  • Finish: Light rye spice transitioning into smooth dark chocolate.

A Growing Legacy

Lux Row Estate Bourbon joins a prestigious portfolio of award-winning spirits, including the Small Batch PX Sherry Cask Finish (Whisky Advocate Top 20 of 2025) and the Lux Row Four Grain Double Single Barrel.

“I’ve always wanted to grow my own grains for a bourbon and this was the perfect opportunity,” Rempe added. “I love the sense of pride and accomplishment from seeing this Estate bourbon go from grain to glass with corn I grew myself. I think people are really going to enjoy this special bourbon.”
