Lux Row PX Sherry Finish A Distillery Favorite Goes Nationwide.
ST. LOUIS (Jan. 28, 2025) – Lux Row Distillers, based in Bardstown, Kentucky, has announced the national release of its much-anticipated Lux Row Small Batch PX Sherry Cask Finish, expanding its portfolio of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskeys. Previously a distillery exclusive, this unique bourbon will be available nationwide starting February 2025.
Crafted from small batches of 4-year-old ryed Kentucky bourbon, this expression is finished for six months in Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry casks—a rich, sweet wine made from sun-dried grapes. Bottled at an impressive 112 proof (56% ABV), the suggested retail price is $49.99 per 750ml bottle.
Tasting Notes
The PX Sherry cask finish enhances the bourbon with an aromatic bouquet of:
- Dried figs and dates
- Grape syrup and candied fruit
- Hints of spice, roasted coffee, and dark chocolate
The result is a well-balanced bourbon with a decadent flavor profile that is both unique and complex.
