Milam & Greene, the Texas-based distillery known for its award-winning whiskies, has announced the launch of Provisions Bourbon. The First Edition will be released nationwide on September 10, 2025, with exclusive previews in Austin and at Kentucky Bourbon Festival.
A Blend of Kentucky Heritage and Texas Innovation
Crafted through a process Milam & Greene calls “Texification,” Provisions Bourbon is pot-distilled in Blanco, Texas, and blended with Kentucky bourbon distilled under the direction of Hall of Fame distiller Marlene Holmes. Select Kentucky barrels are brought to Texas for additional aging, where the Hill Country climate contributes to richness, balance, and drinkability.
Designed for Modern Whiskey Drinkers
“We created Provisions Bourbon with the modern consumer at the center; something versatile, approachable, and elegant in the glass,” said Heather Greene, Master Blender at Milam & Greene. “It’s born from Kentucky heritage and transformed by Texas climate, but it’s not boxed in by cowboy tropes or clichés… we wanted to create a Milam & Greene expression that stunned people in its value.”
Flavor Profile and Pricing
Bottled at 40% ABV, Provisions Bourbon is described as approachable, smooth, slightly sweeter, and adaptable for neat pours or cocktails. It will be available in 750ml bottles with a suggested retail price of $34.99.
Expanding a Growing Portfolio
Milam & Greene’s portfolio already includes single barrel releases, Triple-Cask Bourbon, and limited editions. With the introduction of Provisions Bourbon, the distillery continues to expand its offerings while maintaining a focus on innovation and craftsmanship.
Provisions Bourbon Availability
Provisions Bourbon will be sold through select U.S. retailers and online at milamandgreenewhiskey.com. The launch reinforces Milam & Greene’s mission to deliver quality whiskey that balances tradition with modern creativity.
