New Whiskey Review Happening At Murray Hill Club

Murray Hill Club is a bottle that I have passed on many times. Once I received it, I don’t remember being the biggest fan. I am excited to sit down and revisit this pour and share a review.

Just the Facts: Murray Hill Club

Proof: 103

Age: undisclosed

Mash Bill: Undisclosed

Style:  Bourbon Whiskey Blend

Batch No and Bottle Number: 24/ 301

Jake’s Tasting Notes: Murray Hill Club

Color: Honey

Nose: Right off the tip of the nose honey, fig/ dates, and caramelized sugar. There is a slight citrus zest element but mainly those beginning notes ring true.

Palate: Very drinkable, with brown sugar and cinnamon notes.  Moves towards darker richer fruits such as the dates and figs mentioned in the nose. Very creamy mouthfeel which is balanced across the palate.

Finish: Medium to Long, balance of flavors lingers across the palate which is very nice.

Closing Thoughts

I can say this bottle has changed so much since I first opened it.  I am very excited about this pour now and believe this might be the bottle I use the next few days to make cocktails for the holidays! My advice let this pour sit for a few minutes before you dive in.
