LOUISVILLE, KY — New Riff Distilling and the Kentucky Bourbon Festival have announced the return of the annual Distiller Dinner, featuring a new, earlier date to jumpstart the 2026 festival season. On Thursday, April 9, 2026, bourbon enthusiasts will gather at Savor at River House for an evening of award-winning whiskey, innovative cuisine, and a first look at the year’s festival highlights.
Master Distiller Brian Sprance will lead guests through a curated tasting of New Riff’s acclaimed portfolio, including their Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon, Malted Rye, and the 8 Year Bourbon. The evening begins at 5:15 p.m. with passed appetizers and the world debut of the 2026 Kentucky Bourbon Festival signature cocktail, featuring New Riff’s flagship Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon—which was recently crowned “World’s Best Bourbon.”
“Enjoy an evening of exceptional bourbon, inventive cuisine and vibrant camaraderie — all set against the picturesque backdrop of the Ohio River,” the distillery shared.
The highlight of the evening is a three-course pairing menu crafted by renowned Chef John Varanese. Known for his culturally inspired dishes and dedication to local ingredients, Chef Varanese has designed each course specifically to complement the unique flavor profiles of the New Riff selections.
In addition to the culinary experience, attendees will receive a coveted perk: early access to purchase tickets for the 2026 Kentucky Bourbon Festival held in Bardstown this September.
