Old Elk 10-Year-Old Collection Debuts

COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 28, 2026 — Middle West Spirits, one of North America’s largest independently owned distilleries, has launched the Old Elk Distillery 10-Year-Old Collection, a three-whiskey lineup featuring a Straight Bourbon, a Straight Wheat Whiskey, and a Wheated Bourbon. It’s the first major new release from Old Elk since Middle West Spirits acquired the brand in May 2025, and it signals the company’s growing scale and ambition in the aged-whiskey category.

What’s in the Collection

10-Year-Old Straight Bourbon A high-malted-barley mash bill sets this bourbon apart from tradition. Balancing rye spice with corn sweetness, a decade in the barrel delivers a layered, approachable pour. Mashbill: 51% Corn, 34% Malted Barley, 15% Rye | ABV: 52.5%

10-Year-Old Straight Wheat Whiskey Built on a 95% soft red winter wheat mash bill, this expression draws on Old Elk’s deep experience with rye and wheat distillates. Ten years of aging brings out the grain’s refined, subtle character. Mashbill: 96% Wheat, 4% Malted Barley | ABV: 51.5%

10-Year-Old Wheated Bourbon A 45% wheat content pushes this bourbon toward a bold, grain-forward profile, with a decade of maturation softening it into notes of natural corn sweetness and vanilla. Mashbill: 51% Corn, 46% Wheat, 3% Malted Barley | ABV: 52.5%
