The landmark hospitality concept, opening September 2026 in South Austin, brings the brand’s flagship bourbon label “The Musician” to life through cocktails, food, and live music.

AUSTIN, Texas — Still Austin Whiskey Co. has announced the opening of The Still Austin Quarter, a 15,000-square-foot hospitality destination launching this September in the heart of South Austin. Part music venue, part cocktail destination, part community gathering place, the Quarter is built around The Musician — the character who has graced Still Austin’s flagship Straight Bourbon Whiskey label since 2020 — bringing her story off the bottle and into a physical space for the first time.

“The Still Austin Quarter is everything we imagined when we thought about what it would mean to bring The Musician to life beyond the bottle,” said Chris Seals, co-founder and CEO. “The vision is rooted in this story: the experience of stepping inside her home and seeing her journey as an artist unfold. Each room inside The Still Austin Quarter captures a unique moment in her life and is a reflection of Still Austin’s creative vision, consistent devotion to craft and quality, and the community at the heart of it all.”

Four Spaces, One Story

The Quarter is made up of four distinct areas — the Atrium, the Vinyl Lounge, the Music Room, and a private event space — with room for roughly 500 guests across indoor and outdoor settings, including 125 outdoor seats. Designed in collaboration with architect of record OPA Design Studio and interior design firm Weiss Architecture, the space was conceived as a tribute to Austin and the fans who built the brand, while doubling as a national destination for visitors from across the country.

Cocktails Built on Still Austin’s Own Spirits

The beverage program anchors on Still Austin’s full lineup of flagship spirits, led by Vice President Ken Kodys. The bar menu also features an additive-free agave spirit imported and finished in Still Austin barrels, alongside house-made aperitifs, amaros, and herbal liqueurs crafted by the distilling team, plus beer and wine.

“Building this program was about approaching every decision with the same intentionality and quality that Still Austin has always brought to its spirits,” said Kodys.

Rotating library pours and limited-time offerings are designed to give guests a reason to return. A food menu developed by Still Austin’s in-house hospitality team will complement the cocktail program, with details to be announced.

The Music Room: Home to The Musician’s Stage

At the center of the Quarter is the Music Room, an intimate live-music venue and home to The Musician’s Stage.

“In the life of every musician, there’s an exhilarating moment before stepping on stage where anything can happen. The Musician’s Stage is the manifestation of that moment: when the dream becomes real, and the song that once lived only in her imagination finally finds an audience,” said Seals. “It’s a place where the show feels intimate, the sound is perfect, and every guest feels a connection with the artist — a connection that is deeply human.”

The room’s acoustics were engineered by Steven Durr, whose portfolio spans more than 2,000 recording and performance venues worldwide, including work for Willie Nelson, Austin City Limits, and the Library of Congress. Live performances from local and national acts will run Thursday through Saturday nights, with a live DJ in the Vinyl Lounge every night.
