Oscar Mayer has announced its first bacon innovation in five years with the introduction of Maple Bourbon Bacon, developed in collaboration with Evan Williams Bourbon.

The new product combines sweet, smoky, and savory flavors, incorporating bourbon-inspired elements into a traditional bacon offering.

Maple Bourbon Bacon Details

The Maple Bourbon Bacon is made with thick-cut, expertly trimmed slices that are cured with Evan Williams Bourbon. The bacon undergoes a 12-hour slow-smoking process and features flavor notes described as vanilla and caramel derived from barrel-aged Kentucky bourbon, alongside a maple-forward profile.

The product is being rolled out to grocery stores nationwide. According to the announcement, the release responds to growing consumer interest in maple and bourbon flavor combinations, which have seen increased popularity in recipes and food trends.

In addition, the company is introducing new hot dog products, including Beef and Pork Franks and Cheesy Smokehouse Stuffed Hot Dogs, expanding its portfolio ahead of the summer grilling season.
