Limited Collection Brings Historic Western Drinking Vessels and Art to Pendleton Whisky Fans.

Pendleton Whisky has unveiled The Pendleton Whisky Heritage Collection, a limited-time collection celebrating the craftsmanship, stories and traditions associated with the American West. The collection debuts at the Pendleton Round-Up in Oregon and features rare Western drinking vessels, a one-of-one commissioned artwork, and barware created through a collaboration with Pendleton Woolen Mills. Additional refreshed collections are scheduled to debut in Fort Worth, Texas, in December and at the National Western Stock Show in Denver in January 2027.

Custom Sterling Silver Decanter Highlights Pendleton Heritage Collection

The centerpiece of the collection is a one-of-one sterling silver decanter commissioned from Western silversmith Beau Compton. The decanter features hand-sculpted sterling silver scrollwork and the Pendleton Round-Up’s bucking horse rendered in 10-karat rose gold. Compton, who comes from a ranching and rodeo family and continues to operate his family’s ranch in Arizona, said the piece was designed to reflect Pendleton Whisky’s history and traditions.

“The best pieces tell a story long before you ever pick them up or fill them up,” said Compton. “I wanted this vessel to feel like it belonged to Pendleton Whisky’s history – as though it had already been passed from one generation to the next. Like the traditions that inspired it, it’s meant to be used, shared and eventually handed down.”

The initial collection also includes six vintage drinking vessels sourced from collectors and artisans across the American West. The pieces include a sterling silver buffalo skull flask by Montana silversmith Carol Helvey-Woolsey, a Wyoming steer horn drinking vessel, a cowboy boot decanter and cast-iron coaster by Dallas artist Jan Barboglio, an engraved Montana flask associated with Helena coach George Arthur Harper, stacked pewter drinking cups dating to the 1800s cattle-drive era, and a black glass horse-head decanter featuring hand-etched Western imagery.

Pendleton Whisky and Pendleton Woolen Mills Collaboration Adds Western Barware

The collection also includes a limited-edition collaboration with Pendleton Woolen Mills featuring vintage-inspired barware and accessories made with wool woven at the company’s century-old mill in Pendleton, Oregon. Items include wool-lined wooden bar trays, leather-trimmed wool barware rolls, wool- and leather-lined coasters, and wool cocktail glass wraps with antique brass snaps.

Each piece carries a different story, but together they celebrate the hard work and enduring spirit of the American West.”

Heritage Collection Proceeds to Benefit National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum

100% of proceeds from sales of the Beau Compton commission and collector vessels will benefit the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Starting bids for the initial collection range from $65 to $9,500, with bidding open through October 6 at PendletonWhisky.com. The Pendleton Whisky and Pendleton Woolen Mills collaboration pieces will also be available for purchase while supplies last.

The Heritage Collection will debut at the Traveling Tap House during the Pendleton Round-Up before traveling to Fort Worth in December and Denver in January 2027. New additions, including additional commissioned works from Compton, are expected to join the collection as it travels to select events.
