ST. LOUIS (Jan. 13, 2026) — Rebel Bourbon has officially announced the return of Rebel Root Beer Whiskey, reviving one of the brand’s most requested flavored whiskey releases. The limited-time comeback blends Rebel Straight Bourbon Whiskey with bold, creamy natural root beer flavors, delivering a nostalgic yet rebellious twist on the brand’s award-winning wheated bourbon recipe.
Bottled at 70 proof (35% ABV), Rebel Root Beer Whiskey is rolling out nationwide this month, with a minimum suggested retail price of $19.99 for a 750mL bottle and $0.99 for a 50mL bottle, making it accessible for both casual fans and collectors.
Tasting Notes
Rebel Root Beer Whiskey opens with aromas of classic sassafras and vanilla layered over aged bourbon. The palate delivers sharp, nostalgic root beer flavors including sassafras, vanilla, licorice, and molasses, complemented by caramel, honey, and bourbon whiskey notes, finishing with lingering sweetness and a spicy sassafras kick.

Rebel Root Beer features a distinctive label showcasing a frothy mug of root beer paired with a bourbon barrel. On-premise activations will include branded merchandise giveaways—stickers, coasters, t-shirts, and hats—along with eye-catching “Shoot the Root” shot machines designed to serve chilled pours.
