Independent Bottler Celebrates Whisky Community with Redesigned Labels and Collectible Aesthetic
New York, NY – October 29, 2025 – Single Cask Nation™, America’s original independent bottler, has refreshed the packaging for its online exclusive and retail bottlings, offering whisky enthusiasts a bold new look while celebrating their global community of “The Nation.” The refreshed designs will debut in November at select retailers across 23 states and online at singlecasknation.com.
“Our loyal whisky fans, those we lovingly refer to as ‘The Nation’ – some of whom have been with us since we started almost 15 years ago – expect us to uncover the unexpected and the very best,” said Joshua Hatton, co-founder of Single Cask Nation. “With the redesign, we wanted to celebrate them by putting ‘The Nation’ front and center. Each bottle features caricatures of real members who’ve helped us to become the successful independent bottlers we are today. It’s our way of saying thank you and raising a glass right back to the community that was part of our growth and made this all possible.”
The refreshed packaging blends bold typography with functional transparency for a cohesive, collectible aesthetic:
- Retail Bottlings: Black-and-white label block with updated Single Cask Nation logo for instant recognition
- Online Exclusives: Red “Online Exclusive” banner with golden illustrated caricatures representing members of The Nation
- Detailed Cask Info: Distillery, region, cask details, distillation and bottling dates, age, ABV, and spirit type, with a colored bottom bar denoting region or country of origin
Hatton and co-founder Jason Johnstone-Yellin, both named Independent Bottler of the Year in 2024 and 2025 by Whisky Magazine’s Icons of Whisky America Awards, continue to lead with creativity, transparency, and passion.
