This 4 ½ year old, 112.4 Proof, Sauternes Wine-Finished Indiana Bourbon has developed a rich caramel and a dark honey base with lighter fruits emerging from the glass. Caramel Apple Suckers is what first comes to mind when nosing this glass, followed by cinnamon buttered toast.
On the palate, the fruit notes pop on the tip of the tongue, with a medium level of viscosity and a medium finish. The finish has you reaching for the glass again to see what else you might discover in this wine-finished bourbon.
