The Straight Rye Whiskey expression marks the fourth and final seasonal installment in Still Austin’s Bottled in Bond series.
Still Austin Whiskey Co. is launching their fourth seasonal Bottled in Bond spirit: Straight Rye Whiskey. The whiskeys in the Seasonal Bottled in Bond Series capture the ingredients, flavors and themes of the seasons from which they were inspired. For this spring release, represented by the rabbit, Still Austin used 100% Texas-grown rye which lends a brightness to the whiskey. This release was a collaborative effort between Lead Distiller John Schrepel and legendary Master Blender Nancy Fraley. The artwork on the series of labels was created by world-renowned artist and native Texan, Marc Burckhardt. The art draws influence from the animals and the seasons while paying homage to the Texas terroir.

- Nose: Light nose with spicy oak, vanilla bean, savory herbs, cherry pie and hints of white pepper.
- Palate: Sweet soft oak, with dark honey, black tea, candied ginger, wintergreen, pecan, dried currant and cream soda.
- Finish: Dry finish with notes of pink peppercorn, walnut and almond butter. Hints of milk chocolate and fig jam soften the dry finish.

- Availability: Available for purchase in Still Austin’s Tasting Room (Elmo Road, Austin, Texas) beginning February 20, 2024 at 12:00 PM CT. Also available for purchase online and at select retail locations starting in March 2024.
The fourth and final expression in our seasonal Bottled in Bond series here at Still Austin Whiskey Co. is not one to miss. The Bottled in Bond Straight Rye has the same 100% Texas-grown mash bill as our award-winning Artist Rye Whiskey, but with additional age and a slightly higher proof. Lead distiller John Schrepel and master blender Nancy Fraley have selected only the most well-developed barrels for this release to help showcase the uniquely exceptional character of Texas rye grain.
