The Cure Starts Now is hosting the first ever Bourbon Baron Ball August 19th. This event is to raise not just awareness but fund for pediatric brain cancer. About the Bourbon Baron Ball
A night of bourbon, music and raising awareness. This event will be held at the brand new Megacorp Pavilion in Newport, KY. It will be held from 6pm -10 pm featuring six local distilleries: Augusta, New Riff, Boone County, McBrayer, Brain Brew, and Castle & Key.
Don’t forget the music The Tim Shelton Syndicate and The Tillers will keep you rocking all night long while you enjoy the Cincinnati skyline.

About the Cure Starts Now
All proceeds for this event will be allocated to The Cure Starts Now Foundation, dedicated to funding pediatric brain cancer research and family support. Started right here in Cincinnati, it is one of the most impactful cancer research organizations nationally with efforts including our own Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and over 130 other hospitals in 17 countries. Started by the Desserich family in response to the loss of their daughter in 2007 and supported again by Lauren Hill through her own fight in 2014-2015, it has become an organization that has helped thousands of families.
