The Dalmore has added Cigar Malt Signature Reserve Aged 18 Years to its Principal Collection as a permanent expression. It is an older sibling to Cigar Malt Reserve, which has paired with cigars for more than 20 years. It reaches the U.S. on Nov. 1 with an SRP of $399.99.

The whisky ages 16 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finishes in four more cask types:
  • Matusalem sherry casks, for dried fruit and nutty depth
  • French oak Marsala casks, for ginger warmth and texture
  • French oak Cabernet Franc barriques, for aromatic, savory complexity
  • French oak Cabernet Sauvignon barriques, for tannin and structure

It is bottled at 46% ABV so it keeps its clarity against a full-bodied cigar. It has natural color and is non-chill filtered.

Tasting notes
  • Aroma: Chocolate orange, dried fig, dark fruit, oud (agarwood) and sandalwood
  • Palate: Forest berries, sticky dates, orange marmalade, dark chocolate, cinnamon
  • Finish: Long, with dark fruit, nutmeg and cinnamon
Availability: U.S. retailers and thedalmore.com starting Nov. 1, 2026, at $399.99.
