Yamazaki 25 Years Old won the Trophy for Japanese Whisky at the 2026 International Spirits Challenge (ISC) for the fourth year in a row. Suntory Spirits was also named Producer of the Year in the Japanese Whisky category for the seventh straight year and earned several gold and double gold medals across its lineup.
Judges noted: “There’s a reason Yamazaki is so widely accepted as a global benchmark in quality whisky. The combination of texture and fruitiness, the multiple layers – it has everything happening within it to make me want just a little bit more.”
The trophy was accepted by Hidemichi Takaki, Blender, Suntory Spirits Limited, alongside Shinji Fukuyo, Chief Blender of The House of Suntory.
