Woodford Reserve is creating a sensory experience at Istanbul International Airport to bring the flavors of its American Whiskey to traveling consumers. The pop-up lounge will run until December 31st, and is staffed 24 hours a day.
This sensory lounge will be a spectacle of the senses that take visitors through a Woodford Reserve journey. By engaging the five senses, we will introduce consumers to Woodford Reserve and bring the travel shopping experience to new heights.

A range of Woodford Reserve bottles will be available to purchase, including Bourbon, Malt, Double Oaked, Batch Proof series, and Baccarat Edition. The Istanbul Airport Personal Selection edition of Distiller’s Select, which can only be purchased in Istanbul Airport, is also available.
With the purchase of two bottles, consumers will receive a branded Istanbul tote bag.

Woodford Reserve is crafted from a grain recipe of 72% corn, 18% Rye, and 10% malted barley. This recipe balances the sweetness of corn with the spice of rye, and the nuttiness of malt to build the base for the world’s most flavorful bourbon.
About Istanbul International Airport
The airport currently has one terminal in service for domestic and international flights and five runways (three main and two backups) that are currently in operation. The two 17/35 runways are both 4,100 metres (13,500 feet) long, while the 16/34 runways are both 3,750 metres (12,300 feet) long.
