Award-Winning Washington Distillery Brings Limited Single Barrel Releases to National Retail.

Woodinville Whiskey Co. is expanding one of its most sought-after whiskey programs with the national launch of its Single Barrel Cask Strength 7-Year Bourbon and Single Barrel Cask Strength 7-Year 100% Rye. Beginning in August 2026, the handcrafted single barrel expressions will be available nationwide for the first time after previously being reserved primarily for retailer barrel picks, whiskey clubs, and visitors to the distillery.

Each release is aged for a minimum of seven years and bottled at cask strength, with proof varying from barrel to barrel. The national rollout gives whiskey enthusiasts broader access to Woodinville’s premium single barrel offerings while maintaining the limited-production nature of each barrel.

Brett Carlile Personally Selects Every Barrel

Woodinville Co-Founder and Head Distiller Brett Carlile said the expanded release reflects the distillery’s continued focus on quality over quantity.

“We really wanted to elevate our single barrel program. I personally taste hundreds of barrels and pick only the best ones for this offering to ensure they are something very special. All of my selections are a minimum of 7 years old which really adds a tremendous amount of depth and character to the whiskey.”

Each single barrel yields approximately 180 bottles, ensuring every release maintains its unique characteristics and barrel-specific profile.

From Distillery Exclusives to National Availability

Woodinville has built its reputation through its Single Barrel Cask Strength program, which has historically been available through select retailer and whiskey club barrel picks. The distillery also features a Distiller’s Pick Single Barrel Cask Strength as part of its popular Distiller’s Pick Tour Experience, where visitors sample whiskey directly from the barrel before labeling and bottling their own bottle.

With the national rollout, both the 7-Year Bourbon and 7-Year 100% Rye will be available at retailers across the country, online through Woodinville Whiskey, and at the company’s tasting rooms in Woodinville and Quincy, Washington.

Both expressions carry a suggested retail price of $69.99 per bottle.

Woodinville Continues to Build Its Premium Whiskey Portfolio

Woodinville has earned widespread recognition in recent years, with Forbes describing it as a craft distillery that “may just be the best craft whiskey in America.” The distillery’s Straight Bourbon has also been recognized by Robb Report among the “50 Greatest Whiskeys of the 21st Century,” while Newsweek named it one of the “10 Best Bourbons of 2026.”

The national release comes as Woodinville prepares several major milestones, including the debut of its first 10-Year Bourbon later in 2026. The release follows the distillery’s successful 8-Year Bourbon in 2024 and 9-Year Bourbon in 2025, further expanding its portfolio of age-stated whiskeys.
