Scott’s Tasting Notes: Kentucky Stars Bourbon Whiskey
- Nose: blueberry, orange peel, cedar, and clove; after an initial hit of ethanol, this one benefits from a few minutes in your glass.
- Palate: oak, berry, cigar tobacco, cherries, and cocoa
- Finish: slight chocolate note lingers, medium and warming finish.
Closing Thoughts
Kentucky Stars is yet another premium offering from the father-son team at 15 STARS. This whiskey is age-stated at 8 years and provides a nice value in the premium bourbon category. This is a bottle which I have already enjoyed sharing several times with friends and have gotten a lot of nice feedback from novice and experienced bourbon drinkers alike.
