Jake’s tasting Notes: 2019 Four Roses Limited Edition Small Batch
Nose: This pour takes up a moment to open up. Once it does it starts with warm baked apple pie and brown sugar. It continues to bring notes forward after the up front baked desserts it is vanilla and hints of citrus.
Palate: Very warm first sip that brings a punch of flavor. Warm cinnamon, vanilla, citrus up front. The second sip is full of stone fruit and warm baking spices.
Finish: Lingering stone fruits and chocolate for a long lingering tasteful finish.
Closing thoughts
This pour is as good as it was the first day I bought it at Liquor Barn in Springhurst. Shopping Center. We reviewed the new Limited Edition Small Batch for bourbon heritage month and I think this one stacks right up there. This is why the Small Batch Limited Edition’s are some of my favorite releases every year!
