Jake’s tasting notes: Parker’s Heritage 17th Edition Cask Strength Rye Whiskey
Nose: This nose is very fruity, orange, cherry, vanilla, oak and cinnamon
Palate: On the tongue you get notice the barrel tannin right away from the age of the whiskey. The oak tannin is balanced with very sweet vanilla, brown sugar, citrus and cherry.
Finish: Sweet finishes that fades to cherry and oak for a nice long finish.
Closing thoughts
Parker’s Heritage Cask Strength Rye Whiskey is one of the tastiest rye whiskies I have ever drank. I am excited to try this one in a blind with some of my favorite rye whiskies of the year. I think this one might come out on top!
