Legendary Bar Hemingway Bartender, Colin P. Field, joins Maker’s for One-Night-Only at the Maker’s Mark Distillery and in New York City.
Maker’s Mark has partnered with world-renowned bartender Colin P. Field to create an exclusive holiday cocktail experience at the Maker’s Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, and in New York City this December. The special pop-up event, named Le 46, celebrates the brand’s Maker’s Mark 46 bourbon, which is aged with French oak staves to bring out bold flavors of caramel, vanilla, and a rich complexity. Field, celebrated for his work at Bar Hemingway in Paris, will develop a bespoke cocktail menu inspired by the distinct qualities of Maker’s Mark 46.
Not only does Colin create impeccable cocktails, he is also a fantastic storyteller and the consummate host. We are delighted to welcome Colin back to the homeplace of Maker’s Mark and excited to share the exceptional experience he’ll create with our community of bourbon lovers.

The Le 46 pop-up will kick off at the Maker’s Mark Distillery on December 6th, 2024, as part of the popular “Holiday Sip & Stroll” tour. During this event, guests will enjoy after-hours tours of the distillery, featuring warm bourbon cocktails, seasonal snacks, and the chance to dip their own bottle of Maker’s Mark in the iconic red wax. The event offers a unique holiday experience, combining the brand’s rich heritage with festive celebration. Additionally, for one night only, Field will showcase his craftsmanship at the Maker’s Mark Homeplace Bar, where guests can enjoy exclusive Maker’s Mark 46 cocktails.
As a barman who deeply appreciates the artistry of fine spirits, Maker’s Mark 46 stands out to me for its unique character and complexity thanks to the French oak finishing. It beautifully marries the richness of tradition with a modern twist. I’m thrilled to craft this pop-up experience, where I can share my passion for this exceptional bourbon and celebrate its extraordinary flavor.

After its Kentucky debut, the Le 46 pop-up will head to New York City, where Colin P. Field will continue to craft cocktails using Maker’s Mark 46. This limited-time event will provide attendees with the opportunity to experience the sophisticated flavors of the brand’s signature bourbon, while also offering access to exclusive cocktail recipes and Maker’s Mark news. Guests can secure their spots for both the Loretto and New York City events by becoming Maker’s Mark Ambassadors, receiving first access to event updates and product releases.
