JJ Yeley will once again take the wheel of the No. 44 Chevrolet at the race.

The partnership is part of Green River’s broader strategy to increase brand visibility. As the distillery celebrates its rich history dating back to 1885, it is also launching its first major national advertising campaign in over a century. This campaign, “Raise Your Spirits,” introduces the Ghost of Green River (G.R.), a new ambassador representing both the brand’s legacy and modern appeal. The distillery is also expanding its distribution to 45 states in 2025 and has teamed up with sports personality Colin Cowherd and Major League Baseball for broader exposure.
“We’re leaning into our strong heritage, premium whiskey, and bold storytelling,” said Holly Weyler, Director of Public Relations for Green River Distilling Co. “NASCAR is an important part of our journey to becoming a household name.”
The brand is optimistic about the upcoming race, with a horseshoe logo on the car serving as a symbol of luck. “We’re built to last,” said Pete Marino, President of Bardstown Bourbon and Green River Distilling Co., as they aim for their first-ever checkered flag.
