NASHVILLE, Tenn. – March 5, 2025 – Whiskey JYPSI has unveiled its fourth whiskey release, the Tribute Double Barreled Bourbon. This 86-proof, straight bourbon whiskey, aged for a minimum of four years, undergoes a double-barreling process in new American Oak, creating a rich, smooth, and flavorful bourbon that honors craftsmanship and tradition.
Following the success of Legacy and Explorer, which earned critical acclaim in 2023 and 2024, Tribute is set to become a must-have for whiskey lovers.
“This is a whiskey with a price point and a flavor profile everybody can enjoy, but with the same high-quality approach we’ve taken with our other whiskeys. And that’s what we were looking for with Tribute,” says co-founder and music artist Eric Church.

Once distilled and aged for four years in charred new American Oak barrels, Tribute undergoes an extra step—it is proofed down and re-barreled for an additional 3 to 6 months, also in new American Oak.

Crafted with Sustainably Sourced Grains
Unlike many distilleries that rely on commodity grains from large commercial farms, Whiskey JYPSI partners with small family farms to source flavorful, varietal-stated grains.
One standout ingredient in Tribute is Cherokee White Corn, a once-sacred grain that adds depth and complexity to the bourbon’s profile.
“Instead of using commodity grains from large commercial farming operations for efficiency, the company contracted with small family farms willing to grow more flavorful, varietal-stated grains specifically intended for making whiskey,” explains Whiskey JYPSI whiskey maker Ari Sussman.
“With Tribute, we’re also honoring and working with small communities and local farmers to make this whiskey… I’m from Appalachia, so I love the small-town and artisanal element,” adds Eric Church.
