The Sixth Small Batch Release Honors Another Key Statesman from Kentucky.
Kentucky Senator Bourbon has unveiled its sixth small batch release: The John Edwards Release. This limited-edition bourbon is named after John Edwards, Kentucky’s second-ever U.S. Senator and a resident of Bourbon County. The release continues the brand’s tradition of celebrating Kentucky’s distinguished history while offering a premium Bourbon experience.
The Tale of the Tape: John Edwards Release
The John Edwards Release is aged for seven and a half years. Bottled at 107 proof, the Bourbon maintains the brand’s signature proof. The mash bill consists of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. According to Bourbon Outfitters online shop, the Bourbon boasts tasting notes of deep caramel and vanilla, followed by toasted oak and baking spices alongside hints of dark cherries, orange zest, and a touch of leather.
Limited Edition Release with Exclusive Availability
With only 2,000 bottles available, The John Edwards Release is a premium release and priced at $119.99. Distilled and aged in Kentucky, the Bourbon is bottled at Bluegrass Distillers in Midway and distributed by Kentucky Eagle Wine & Spirits. In addition to retail locations, this release will be available online at BourbonOutfitter.com, as well as select Kentucky bars and restaurants.
