Northern Row Brewery Launching New Northern Liberties Bourbon

The Cincinnati brewery and distillery has announced their first whiskey release in time for National Bourbon Day on June 14.

Northern Liberties Whiskey Co., the spirits arm of Northern Row Brewery & Distillery, will release its first bourbon on Friday, June 14, 2025, aligning with National Bourbon Day. The six-year-old small batch bourbon is produced, aged, and bottled entirely on-site in Cincinnati’s historic Northern Liberties neighborhood, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to local craftsmanship.

A Tribute to Cincinnati’s Distilling Heritage

The name Northern Liberties Bourbon pays homage to a once independent and spirited district just beyond the city’s original limits. “Our goal has always been to build something authentic, something with soul,” said Brenden Douglass, Director of Operations at Northern Row. “We’re proud to bring this bourbon to life here, in a place that’s always been a little wild, a little bold, and full of character.”

Crafted with Patience and Personal Vision

The bourbon marks a milestone for the distillery’s head distiller, Josh Quattlebaum, who personally created the recipe. “Every batch I’ve made has been crafted with care, but this bourbon was the first I designed completely from start to finish. It’s personal, and seeing it come to life after six years in the barrel is a powerful reminder that great things are worth the wait,” Quattlebaum said.

Limited First Release Available Only at the Distillery

This inaugural release is limited to just a few hundred bottles, available exclusively at Northern Row Brewery & Distillery on June 14. The release event invites guests to join in the celebration and purchase a bottle of the locally made bourbon. The distillery emphasizes its dedication to heritage and authenticity in every aspect of the product.
