Angel’s Envy has announced the release of its first-ever age-stated whiskey, the Angel’s Envy 10-Year Cask Strength. Launching nationwide on October 10, this limited-edition bourbon represents a decade of aging in both new American oak and port wine barrels. The release marks a historic milestone for the brand, reflecting ten years of maturation, patience, and precision under the direction of Master Distiller Owen Martin.

A Decade in the Making

The October 10 release date holds special meaning for the distillery. Angel’s Envy was originally slated to debut in October 2010, but founder Lincoln Henderson postponed the launch until the whiskey met his uncompromising quality standards. Releasing the 10-Year Cask Strength on that same date brings the story full circle, paying tribute to Henderson’s legacy and the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship and innovation.

Expertly Crafted by Master Distiller Owen Martin

Bottled at 122.6 proof, Angel’s Envy 10-Year Cask Strength showcases Martin’s meticulous approach to blending tradition with innovation. “Angel’s Envy 10 Cask Strength represents more than just a decade of aging — it embodies the dedication, precision, and passion that our team pours into every bottle,” said Owen Martin, Master Distiller at Angel’s Envy. “I’m incredibly proud of how this expression pushes the boundaries of what we’ve achieved with our cask releases, using a deft touch to balance a refined port character at a bold cask strength.”

Tasting Profile: Complex and Refined

According to the brand, the whiskey opens with aromas of sweet cinnamon toast and creamy fruit nougat layered with candied nuts. On the palate, it reveals notes of baklava, ripe apricot, crème brûlée, and cognac, accented by a subtle grains of paradise spice. The finish showcases the influence of port barrels, delivering rich rum raisin cake notes that highlight the balance between bold proof and nuanced flavor.

Limited Availability and Collectibility

Only 24,480 bottles of Angel’s Envy 10-Year Cask Strength will be available nationwide, beginning October 10, 2025. The release will be sold at select U.S. retailers, the Angel’s Envy Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, and in limited quantities online at angelsenvy.com, with a suggested retail price of $249.99 per 750ml bottle.
