Barrell Celebrates A Decade of New Year Blending Tradition.
Barrell Craft Spirits® (BCS) has announced the release of its 10th annual limited-edition Barrell Bourbon New Year 2026. Introduced each year as an expression to mark the start of a new calendar year, the small-batch bourbon showcases the company’s blending expertise by marrying a wide selection of whiskeys sourced from across the United States.
Blend Includes Whiskeys from Seven States
The 2026 edition features bourbons distilled in Indiana (5-, 6-, 8-, 11-, and 13-year), Kentucky (5-, 6-, and 10-year), Tennessee (8-, 10-, and 16-year), Wyoming (9- and 13-year), Maryland (7- and 8-year), New York (5-year), and Ohio (5-year). Together, these components create a derived mash bill of 74% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley, and 1% wheat.
Crafted for Complexity and Depth
According to BCS, each annual New Year release is designed to highlight the unique qualities of bourbons with varying ages, mash bills, and origins. The resulting blend aims to offer a layered and multifaceted profile that reflects the diversity of American whiskey. The 2026 edition was blended and bottled in Kentucky at 110.3 proof (55.15% ABV).
Available Nationwide and Online
Barrell Bourbon New Year 2026 is available now through the Barrell Craft Spirits website and at select retailers nationwide. The suggested retail price is $84.99 per 750ml bottle.
