Coffee and Bourbon Collide in New Signature Release Featuring a 6-Year Bourbon, Finished with Muletown Coffee Roasters’ Beans.
Bib & Tucker Small Batch Bourbon has announced the national launch of Gold Roast Bourbon, a new year-round expression that merges Tennessee bourbon tradition with roasted Arabica coffee. The 6-Year bourbon, finished using a proprietary cold extraction method with Muletown Coffee Roasters’ beans, will be available starting August 2025 at a suggested retail price of $49.99. The bourbon is bottled at 92 proof / 46% ABV.
Crafted in Collaboration with Muletown Coffee Roasters
The Arabica coffee used in Gold Roast Bourbon was sourced from the Agalta region of Honduras and custom-roasted by Muletown Coffee Roasters, a Tennessee-based partner selected for their small-batch and artisan focus. The finishing process involves steeping the roasted beans in cask-strength whiskey before final blending. “Partnering with our neighbors Muletown Coffee was a natural choice for us,” said Master Blender Alan Kennedy. “Their attention to craft and origin mirrors our own.”
Traditional Tennessee Bourbon, Reimagined
Gold Roast begins with Bib & Tucker’s award-winning 6-Year Tennessee Bourbon, crafted from a mash bill of corn, rye, and barley. The spirit undergoes the Lincoln County Process and ages in new American oak barrels before being infused with roasted coffee in its final stage. Kennedy stated, “We carefully crafted a spirit that could carry the richness of a proprietary Arabica coffee roast without overpowering the delicate character of our 6-Year Tennessee Bourbon.”
Tasting Notes Highlight Roasted Complexity
The sensory profile of Gold Roast features deep aromas of coffee and molasses, followed by a palate of vanilla, milk chocolate, and oak. The finish is medium-long, with notes of dark roast coffee and brown spice. The bourbon appears deep amber in color, reminiscent of walnut or brown sherry.
Part of a Growing Small Batch Lineup
Gold Roast joins Bib & Tucker’s core range, which includes The Classic Six and Double Char, all aged six years and priced at $49.99. The brand remains committed to transparency, listing age statements prominently on each bottle. Gold Roast is available in retail stores and online via ReserveBar.com.
