Booker’s Bourbon Unveils Batch 2026-02 The “Milkshake Batch”.

Booker’s Bourbon has unveiled its second release of 2026, “The Milkshake Batch,” an uncut and unfiltered Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey inspired by one of Booker Noe’s favorite indulgences: a homemade chocolate malted milkshake with a healthy pour of bourbon.

The latest batch pays tribute to a longstanding Beam family tradition and highlights the inventive spirit that defined the late Master Distiller Booker Noe. According to the family, the inspiration dates back to fishing trips Booker took with his son Fred Noe during Fred’s childhood. After a day spent on the water, father and son would celebrate with chocolate malted milkshakes. In time, Booker added bourbon to the recipe, creating a ritual that has since been passed down to the next generation and is now shared by Fred and his son, Eighth Generation Master Distiller Freddie Noe.

A Classic Booker’s Profile

“The Milkshake Batch” stays true to the signature style that has made Booker’s a favorite among bourbon enthusiasts. The release is bottled uncut and unfiltered at 124.4 proof and matured for 7 years, 6 months, and 12 days.

The bourbon offers aromas of vanilla and oak, leading to a bold, full-bodied palate and the long, lingering finish that fans have come to expect from Booker’s Bourbon.

Barrel Composition

Like all Booker’s releases, “The Milkshake Batch” is composed of barrels selected from multiple warehouses across the James B. Beam Distilling Co. campus.

Twenty-six percent of the blend was aged on the fifth floor of Warehouse 3, a seven-story warehouse. Another 23 percent came from the third floor of Warehouse L, while 19 percent was sourced from the third floor of Warehouse M. The remaining 32 percent was drawn from the fifth floor of Warehouse G at Waterfall.

The combination of warehouse locations and floor placements contributes to the balance of flavors and complexity found in the final blend.

Continuing Booker Noe’s Legacy

Since its introduction in 1988, Booker’s Bourbon has remained one of the pioneers of barrel-strength bourbon, offering whiskey enthusiasts a glimpse into the way Booker Noe enjoyed his bourbon. Each batch carries a unique name and story rooted in family memories and Beam traditions.

“The Milkshake Batch” continues that legacy, honoring a simple moment between generations that evolved into a family ritual and now serves as the inspiration behind one of the brand’s latest releases.
