Limited 2,400-bottle batch of the 8-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon hits shelves this week at $64.99

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — July 30, 2026 — Rolling Fork Spirits has released a new limited batch of its acclaimed Bourbon de Luxe, an 8-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at cask strength. Since its 2024 revival, the small-batch release has built a loyal following among whiskey enthusiasts for its combination of quality and value.

“The reception by enthusiasts to the revival of Bourbon de Luxe far exceeded our expectations,” said Rolling Fork Co-Founder Turner Wathen. “For a $65 bourbon to place in the top 10 of Fred Minnick’s list in 2025 reinforced our belief that high quality bourbon at a reasonable price will always be in demand, and we will do our best to make that – cask strength, high quality, reasonably priced Kentucky straight bourbon.”

About the 2026-01 Batch

For this release, Rolling Fork selected 15 barrels of 8-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon sourced from distilleries in Bardstown and Owensboro, Kentucky. Bottled at cask strength (124.5 proof), the whiskey delivers sweet notes of caramel, vanilla, cream, and orange peel, balanced by seasoned oak and cinnamon.

The batch is limited to 2,400 bottles and will be available starting this week at Seelbachs.com and select retailers, with a suggested retail price of $64.99.

A Storied Brand, Reborn

Bourbon de Luxe dates back to 1911. The brand survived Prohibition after being acquired by the R.W. Wathen Co. in 1926, then became part of the American Medicinal Spirits Co. portfolio in 1927 — one of only six permit holders licensed to sell medicinal whiskey during Prohibition. Rolling Fork revived the historic label in 2024, carrying forward the Wathen family’s 1788 motto: No Finer Spirits Can Be Made.
