Breckenridge Distillery has announced the re-launch of its Honey Whiskey, a flavored expression crafted with Goldswarm Raw Honey sourced from Nigeria.

The whiskey is bottled at 36% ABV (72 proof) and is now part of the distillery’s core whiskey portfolio following its initial limited release in 2025.

From Limited Broncos Release to Core Portfolio Offering

Originally introduced in 2025 in partnership with the Denver Broncos, the Honey Whiskey has transitioned from a limited-edition product into a permanent offering. The release reflects the brand’s focus on approachable, ingredient-driven whiskey expressions.

Flavor Profile and Tasting Notes

The whiskey is described as opening with aromas of molasses and honey, accompanied by notes of holiday spice, toasted oak, and vanilla. On the palate, it delivers honey-forward sweetness balanced by oak and spice, finishing with lingering cinnamon warmth.

Breckenridge’s Perspective on Ingredient Innovation

“Our goal is always to create whiskeys that are both approachable and layered with character,” said Bryan Nolt. “The rare Goldswarm honey brings a depth and richness that complements our whiskey beautifully, resulting in a spirit that is smooth, distinctive and unmistakably Breckenridge.”

Release Info and Availability

Breckenridge Honey Whiskey is available in multiple formats, including 750mL, 1L, 1.75L, and 50mL bottles. The product is currently available through select Colorado retailers, with national distribution expected to begin in mid-April. It is also available for home delivery where permitted.
