Bulleit Frontier Whiskey and Mike’s Hot Honey are teaming up for a nationwide collaboration combining American whiskey, sweet heat and local food favorites.

The partnership will visit 22 events across 15 cities, featuring whiskey serves, cocktails, culinary collaborations and limited-edition merchandise. The campaign follows the launch of Bulleit ’87, a blend of bourbon and rye that the brands are pairing with a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey.

The featured serve is Bulleit ’87 poured neat or over ice with Mike’s Hot Honey on the rim. The collaboration also introduces two cocktails: a Hot Honey Old Fashioned made with Bulleit Bourbon, hot honey and bitters, and a Swicy Gold Rush combining Bulleit Rye, lemon juice and hot honey.

“As a brand built on backing bold ideas and doing things differently, we’re thrilled to partner with Mike’s Hot Honey to create the ultimate flavor pairing,” said Frank Dudley, Brand Director of American Whiskey at Diageo. “We’re all about pushing the boundaries of flavor exploration, and Mike’s Hot Honey shares the same philosophy of quality and flavor, making for a pairing that tastes damn good.”

The brands are bringing the partnership to events through the Bulleit Rider, a mobile bar featuring Bulleit’s signature orange, as well as collaborations with local restaurants. In Los Angeles, Ggiata Delicatessen will offer the Kentucky Hotshot, a limited-time $18 sandwich featuring chicken marinated in Bulleit ’87 barbecue sauce and finished with Mike’s Hot Honey. It will be available at Ggiata locations October 16–19, 2026. The Bulleit Rider is also scheduled to appear at New York City’s Stone Street Oktoberfest on October 17, offering complimentary cocktails, Bulleit ’87 serves and giveaways at participating bars.

Additional scheduled stops include Whiskey Washback in Dallas on October 23, Detroit bar takeovers on October 24, Whiskey Washback in New York City on October 30 and WhiskyFest NY on November 20. The partnership is also planned for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival in Miami in February 2027, the Gasparilla Music Festival in Tampa in April and Louisville Derby Week later that month. The brands say more events are planned into 2027.

The collaboration also includes a limited-edition T-shirt illustrated by Diego Aguilar, available for $30 for a limited time through the Mike’s Hot Honey website, with additional opportunities to receive one through Bulleit’s Instagram. Bulleit ’87 has a suggested retail price of $29.99 for a 750-milliliter bottle and is available at select retailers nationwide and through ReserveBar. The brands are also encouraging consumers to experiment with the whiskey and hot honey pairing in cocktails and food recipes.
