Center for Courageous Kids Launches Fifth Annual Bourbon Raffle

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. — The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) has announced its fifth annual Bourbon Raffle, giving bourbon enthusiasts a shot at one of 15 prize packages valued at more than $41,000 — all while supporting free camp programs for children with disabilities and lifelong illnesses.

How It Works: Only 1,000 tickets are available at $100 each. Every ticket is entered into all 15 drawings until it wins, giving each participant multiple chances to take home a rare bottle.

“Every ticket purchased helps make it possible for a child to experience the magic of camp,” said Darren Dannelly, President & CEO of The Center for Courageous Kids. “While these rare bourbon bottles are exciting prizes for collectors, the true reward is knowing each ticket helps give children the opportunity to laugh, explore, build friendships and simply be kids in a place created just for them.”

The Prizes:

This year’s lineup was curated by renowned bourbon collector and longtime CCK supporter Curt Rafferty. Highlights include:

Grand Prize: A six-bottle Pappy collection, including Pappy Van Winkle 23-Year, valued up to $11,000
First Prize: A rare 1992 decanter commemorating the 1968 Chevrolet Corvette
Second Prize: A complete Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, valued up to $9,000
12 additional prize packages featuring bottles from Blanton’s, Heaven Hill, E.H. Taylor and other sought-after brands

All prizes carry guaranteed authenticity, backed by Rafferty’s collection of some of the most coveted bottles in the bourbon world.

Where the Money Goes:

Proceeds fund CCK’s free, medically supported camp programs. Across nine week-long summer sessions, CCK welcomes up to 128 campers each week, with each session built around a specific medical condition. Campers take part in horseback riding, fishing, swimming, arts and crafts and archery, building confidence and friendships along the way. CCK also hosts fall and spring family weekend retreats for families to reconnect with others who understand their experience.

Tickets are available now at CourageousKids.org/raffle. The raffle is open to those 21 and older. Ticket sales close at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 21, during CCK’s Stars and 6 Strings event. Attendance is not required to win — the drawing will be livestreamed on CCK’s Facebook page, with winners announced in real time.
