A New Flavor Joins Crown Royal’s Whisky Portfolio.

Crown Royal has announced the nationwide debut of its latest innovation, Crown Royal Chocolate Flavored Whisky. This limited-edition release blends Crown Royal whiskies with rich chocolate flavor, offering a smooth, velvety finish. The whisky will be available beginning September 1, 2025, at a suggested retail price of $26.99.

Flavor Profile and Tasting Notes

According to Crown Royal, the whisky opens with aromas of vanilla, creamy chocolate, and oak. On the palate, drinkers can expect hints of caramel and toffee, finishing with lingering notes of dark cacao alongside Crown Royal’s signature smoothness.

Cocktail Versatility and Pairing Possibilities

The brand highlights this expression as particularly versatile for cocktail creations. Suggested pairings include mixing with grapefruit juice, cola, or lemonade, as well as putting a twist on classics like the Old Fashioned, Espresso Martini, and Coquito. Bottled at 70 Proof (35% ABV), Crown Royal positions this release as ideal for occasions ranging from dinner parties to weekend brunch.
