Dark Arts Whiskey House Opens Brand Home in Lexington’s Distillery District.
Dark Arts Whiskey House has officially opened the doors to its new brand home in Lexington’s historic Distillery District. Located at 1170 Manchester Street, the experiential whiskey destination welcomed guests starting June 28, 2025.
A Whiskey Experience Rooted in Alchemy and Immersion
Dark Arts Whiskey House blends the themes of ancient alchemy with modern distillation techniques to offer visitors a unique and sensory-driven whiskey journey. “Our vision has always been to craft a whiskey experience that transcends the ordinary,” said Macaulay Minton, Chief Alchemist of Dark Arts Whiskey House. “We’ve blended the mysticism of alchemy with the precision of distillation to create not only exceptional spirits, but a destination where guests can explore the unknown.”
Immersive Design Inspired by Ancient Mysticism
The venue’s design draws inspiration from Gothic cathedrals, celestial charts, and secret alchemists’ chambers. This thematic approach aims to stir curiosity and challenge conventional expectations of the whiskey experience.
Opening Weekend Features Tastings and Limited Releases
To mark its grand opening, Dark Arts hosted guided tastings, craft cocktails, and exclusive bottle releases. Featured whiskeys included the annual Blunt Blend, Ripple Rye, and Sherry Garcia limited editions, along with access to a new, unreleased expression.
Tour Bookings and Future Experiences
Tours of the Dark Arts brand home are available for reservation beginning July 9, 2025. The experiences offer an inside look into the distillery’s unique philosophy and production techniques. Additional formats and offerings are expected to roll out in the coming months. Visitors can book at darkartswhiskey.com/visit-us.
