The Ingram Distillery has announced the release of Uncharted Kentucky Wheated Bourbon, a new addition to its portfolio of river-aged whiskies. The bourbon is packaged in 100% recycled glass and, like all Ingram whiskies, is aged on the Mississippi River, where constant motion, humidity, and microclimate shape its flavor profile.
A New Expression in the Ingram Portfolio
Uncharted is bottled at 92 proof and offered in both 750ml ($39.99 SRP) and 1L ($44.99 SRP) formats. The release joins the distillery’s award-winning O.H. Ingram River Aged series while standing apart as a distinct expression with its own identity.
Celebrating Adventure and Innovation
“Uncharted is all about celebrating those unexpected adventures that happen every day,” said Hank Ingram, Founder and Proprietor of The Ingram Distillery. “With Uncharted, we set out to craft a standout bourbon that could be enjoyed any time. Like everything we do, we wanted to continue to innovate in the space and celebrate the magic of the river. Using 100% recycled glass is another way we are continuing to push the envelope on what’s possible.”
Award-Winning Debut
At the International Wine and Spirits Competition, Uncharted received a Gold Medal and a 95-point score, earning recognition as one of the best wheated bourbons in the competition. Tasting notes highlight aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, toasted nuts, and coffee, with a palate of graham cracker, honey, light spice, maple, and oak. The finish is described as long, with caramel, cinnamon, apples, and hints of leather and cocoa.
Building on a Legacy of River Aging
Founded in 2015, The Ingram Distillery pioneered the use of permanent floating barrelhouses, aging whiskey inside repurposed grain barges moored on the Mississippi River in Columbus, KY. This “Mellowed on the Mississippi” process exposes barrels to the motion of the river, heat cycling, and high humidity, producing unique complexity. The distillery is also reimagining its Kentucky grounds to expand hospitality offerings.

Uncharted and other Ingram expressions are available in Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin, as well as online through Seelbach’s. The brand’s lineup includes Uncharted, the O.H. Ingram River Aged series, Flagship bourbon, and a single barrel program.
